15-minute mini lessons are recommended for either small children (ages 3-4), or anyone with a shorter attention span. You know your child best. We can always start here and move up as we see fit. Progress may be slower if only once a week. This mini lesson works great as a class, meeting 2-3 times a week.

Half-hour standard lessons are typical lesson times for ages 4 and up. Lesson time is usually divided between hands-on instrument and theory education. Solos are also learned if enough time is allowed.

45-minute intermediate lessons are highly recommended for those who just need a little more time. Focus is a little more in-depth and able to be given to critical warm-ups, scales, fundamentals, and solos to help students grow into a more well-rounded musician.

Hour advanced lessons are for students who participate in competitions, auditions, etc. A full hour gives an appropriate amount of time to focus on tone development, fundamentals, technique, audition music, solo repertoire, etc.
